Job summary

Innovative Defense Technologies, LLC, is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to join the Internal DevSecOps team in Fall River, MA. The role centers on designing CI/CD pipelines, IaC modules, and automated security controls to deliver secure software at velocity.

The position requires a Secret clearance, on-site presence, and teamwork across software, security, and systems engineering to drive DX improvements and platform hardening.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of experience in DevSecOps/DevOps or platform engineering.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• U.S. citizenship.
• Ability to travel up to 10%.
• Strong SDLC knowledge and secure coding practices.
• Experience building and scaling CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design, architect, and optimize CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins.
• Automate security controls (SAST, SCA, SBOM) in pipelines.
• Configure and secure Software Factory platform (GitLab, Artifactory, SonarQube).
• Create IaC blueprints with Ansible/OpenTofu for reproducible environments.
• Orchestrate containerized workloads with Podman and ensure registry sync.
• Harden deployments in air-gapped environments and ensure compliance.
• Translate compliance standards into automated validation scripts.
