Job summary

Sev1Tech is seeking a Mid DevSecOps Engineer to design and implement a DevOps platform for DoD software development in a mixed environment. You will focus on automation, CI/CD, scripting, and secure baseline management to support the Navy and related programs.

Responsibilities include building GitLab pipelines, configuring Kubernetes, and documenting testing and IA controls per CNSSI/NIST guidelines, while collaborating in an Agile setting to deliver compliant, secure systems.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship required.
• DoD8570 compliant certifications (Sec+ and OS) required to access privileged environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
• Automate configurations within Kubernetes.
• Support cloud networking and routing for DNS, TLS, and Ingress/Egress.
• Maintain and harden base images.
• Develop and document risk assessments, vulnerabilities, and mitigation actions.
