Job summary

CACI International Inc. is seeking a Senior DevSecOps Engineer to join an Agile development team supporting Navy prototype systems. You will drive secure CI/CD, Kubernetes platform engineering, and software configuration management across on‑prem and cloud environments.

The role requires a TOP SECRET clearance with SCI eligibility and 5+ years of DevOps/engineering experience, with strong IaC and secure software practices. On‑site work is required at the Virginia site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related STEM field.
• Active TOP SECRET clearance with SCI eligibility.
• Willing to work onsite at customer site.
• Minimum 5+ years in DevOps, software, or related engineering role.
• Minimum 3+ years in CI/CD, IaC, and AAA best practices.
• Experience with Linux environments, red hat preferred.
• Experience with Git, GitLab or Jenkins pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute CI/CD pipeline setup and maintenance.
• Integrate security gates into CI/CD pipelines for DevSecOps.
• Develop AAA tooling within Kubernetes platform for zero-trust.

• Implement software configuration management best practices.

Opportunity

As a Senior DevSecOps Engineer, you will be part of an Agile development team supporting the architecture, development, configuration, and evaluation of signals intelligence, radar, and communications prototype development systems, related software systems, and development environments for our Navy customer. You will engineer and conduct advanced research and development across the full end-to-end development lifecycle. Your responsibilities include serving as a senior technical engineer for secure CI/CD, AAA Kubernetes platform engineering, enforcing Software CM best practices, and leveraging automation to reliably manage on‑premise and cloud development environments.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute CI/CD pipeline setup, enhancements, and maintenance projects
• Integrate security tools and gates into CI/CD pipelines for DevSecOps
• Implement AAA tooling throughout a Kubernetes platform to support zero‑trust architecture
• Utilize tools such as Git, Ansible, GitLab/Jenkins, Keycloak, HashiCorp Vault, Linkerd, Kubernetes/Helm, JFrog Artifactory, Terraform, Packer, and Vagrant
• Implement Software CM best practices and strategies
• Implement cloud and virtual on‑premises development environments
• Ensure a promotional continuous deployment lifecycle
• Provide multiple security enclave support
• Support cyber security scans, hardening, and vulnerability analysis/remediation
• Maintain configuration‑controlled containers
• Align DevSecOps deployment strategy with OTA updates design for fielded systems
• Create and maintain comprehensive CI/CD documentation
• Mentor peers
• Support requirements development, design reviews, and technical exchanges as needed

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, Math, or equivalent experience
• Active TOP SECRET clearance with SCI eligibility
• Willing to work onsite
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in a DevOps, software, or similar engineering role
• Minimum 3+ years administering and implementing development workflows, CI/CD solutions, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and AAA best practices using common industry DevSecOps tooling
• Minimum 3+ years developing on‑premises or cloud infrastructure to support end‑to‑end development lifecycles for organizational initiatives
• Experience with Linux operating systems—preferably Red Hat Linux
• Experience using Git
• Experience with Git, Ansible, Kubernetes/Helm, AAA tools & strategies, GitLab/Jenkins pipeline, JFrog Artifactory, and Infrastructure as Code

• 7+ years’ experience developing on‑premises or cloud infrastructure for team or customer initiatives and deploying processes using CI/CD tools
• 5+ years’ experience developing Infrastructure as Code / AAA solutions
• Direct experience with low‑to‑high security enclave software development lifecycle

Pay Range

$82,100–$172,400
