Job summary
Lockheed Martin is seeking a security-focused engineer with strong Linux expertise to design, build, and maintain secure Linux-based workflows, scripts, and tooling that integrate security into the software development lifecycle. The role bridges development and security to ensure code, configurations, and deployments comply with policy and standards.
The position requires DoD access and US citizenship, experience with DevSecOps, Kubernetes, and automation tooling, and a collaborative,
Qualifications
- Understanding of DevSecOps principles, practices, and tools.
- Experience with Linux (RHEL/Rocky) and Windows Server.
- Experience with Agile, Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment.
- Experience with Kubernetes Infrastructure (Vanilla, OpenShift, TKG)
- Understanding of System Scripting (bash, Python, PowerShell, batch, etc.)
- Growth Mindset, with an interest in emerging technologies
- Strong written and verbal communications
- Understanding of containerization tools like Docker.
- Demonstrate strong collaboration skills
- Basic skills with version control tools such as Git
- Strong documentation skills.
- Ability to Obtain and Maintain a DoD security clearance. Must be a US Citizen.
