The Newberry Group is seeking an experienced DevSecOps Engineer to support our DISA customer. This role embeds cybersecurity into Agile development and CI/CD, helping teams move applications from concept to production securely.

You will work hybrid onsite near Fort Meade, MD, with 4 days onsite weekly, and must hold a DoD Top Secret clearance. Salary range is $130,000 to $150,000 annually with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of related experience.
• DoD 8140 Security Architect Certification requirement (one of listed).
• Must have and maintain a current DoD Top Secret clearance.
• Must reside within commutable distance of Fort Meade, MD or Chambersburg, PA.
• Experience integrating cybersecurity into Agile SDLC.
• Hands-on CI/CD pipeline experience.
• RMF/NIST knowledge and DoD policies.
• Cloud-native and modern architectures knowledge.

• Apply DevSecOps and shift-left security practices to vulnerabilities.
• Implement automated security testing within CI/CD workflows.

• Provide threat-informed security guidance for cloud-native apps.
• Support secure development of APIs and containerized workloads.
• Communicate risks and remediation to stakeholders.
• Manage security activities across multiple projects and sprints.
