Job summary

Pinnacle Solutions, an Akima company, seeks a DevSecOps Engineer to bridge cloud, on-prem training environments, and cybersecurity operations. You’ll manage AD, MDM, and local classroom assets while advancing AWS cloud initiatives.

The role emphasizes translating security frameworks into actionable controls to maintain compliance with federal mandates. You will harden systems across cloud, on-prem, and mobile endpoints, perform vulnerability scans (ACAS, DISA STIGs), and produce audit-ready

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and CompTIA Security+ certification required.
• US citizenship with ability to obtain Secret clearance.
• Hands-on AD and enterprise MDM in hybrid cloud/on-prem environments.
• Practical AWS experience: EC2, networking and pipelines.
• Experience applying ACAS and DISA STIGs to secure systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage a mix of cloud infrastructure, local classroom admin, security operations, and endpoint management.
• Architect, deploy, and manage AWS resources including EC2 and subnets.
• Support on-prem hardware and localized training systems for security.
• Integrate identity systems with AWS and manage AD users/devices.
• Oversee MDM for ERDs, tablets and remote endpoints with policy enforcement.
• Lead vulnerability management and incident remediation across platforms.
• Hardening of EC2, cloud, on-prem, and mobile devices against threats.
• Run ACAS scans and apply patches to fix findings on all layers.
• Draft and maintain system documentation aligned with NIST 800-171/800-53.
