Job summary

Accenture Federal Services seeks a DevSecOps engineer to build, secure, and operate the AWS/Kubernetes platform that hosts mission applications, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team on EC2, S3, VPC, and IAM services.

You will implement CI/CD pipelines, harden container images, automate scanning, and manage air-gapped environments while supporting ATO and RMF activities and providing Tier 1-3 platform support. A Top Secret clearance is required.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in DevOps, DevSecOps, platform engineering, or cloud infrastructure engineering.
• 3 years of experience with Amazon Web Services or comparable cloud platforms, including EC2, S3, VPC, and IAM.
• 2 years of experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI, Jenkins, and/or ArgoCD.
• 2 years of experience with containers and container orchestration using Kubernetes; AWS EKS experience preferred.
• Experience developing and maintaining infrastructure as code using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools.
• Proficiency in Python, Bash, or a comparable language for automation and operational tooling.
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification or higher (Security+, CISSP, CASP, or equivalent), or DoD 8140 equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain the automation that moves applications from commit to production — CI/CD pipelines, hardened container images, automated scanning, and the controlled promotion of artifacts into air-gapped environments.
• Support Authorization to Operate (ATO) and RMF activities by remediating security findings in platform infrastructure and container images.
• Provide Tier 1-3 support for the deployed platform.
