Job summary

Peregrine Advisors is seeking a qualified DevSecOps/Platform Engineer to own secure CI/CD paths for federal systems. You will implement infrastructure-as-code, containerization, and automated security tests in AWS or client on-prem environments, delivering evidence for RMF authorization and continuous monitoring.

You will collaborate across teams to automate, audit, and improve deployments with zero-trust principles, least-privilege, and reliable rollout strategies while maintaining strong

Qualifications

• 4+ years of DevSecOps or platform engineering experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Hands-on CI/CD pipeline automation with security gates, AWS-native (CodePipeline, CodeBuild) or comparable (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
• Infrastructure-as-code (CloudFormation or Terraform) and containerization.
• Automated security testing (SAST, DAST, SCA) and vulnerability scanning.
• Scripting in Python or Bash.
• Git-based version control.
• Monitoring and logging.
• Basic proficiency in writing, PowerPoint, and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Own secure CI/CD pipelines with security gates and evidence for review.
• Manage infrastructure-as-code and containerization for production deployments.
• Implement monitoring, logging, vulnerability scanning, and automated health checks.
• Support and evolve zero-trust and least-privilege deployment patterns.
