B4Corp in Bethesda, MD is seeking a Systems Engineer (DevOps Lead) to shape and implement DevOps strategy for mission-critical systems. You will coordinate product development with operations, build automated secure delivery pipelines, and drive high-quality releases for government customers.

Responsibilities include selecting and integrating DevOps tools, promoting best practices, monitoring performance, and ensuring maximum uptime in production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field.
• Minimum ten years in an operational environment with development and client support of large-scale enterprise applications.
• Minimum five years experience with Agile software development.
• Minimum eight years IT experience with at least five years DevOps experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and integration of DevOps tools for deployment, monitoring and operations of mission systems software products.
• Coordinate with application teams to adopt continuous build, inspection, testing, and deployment approaches.
• Promote industry-standard DevOps engineering practices and drive automation to maximize uptime.
• Provide KPI metrics and analysis to track software delivery efficiency across teams.
• Work under supervision while guiding cross-functional teams through changes.
