Location: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid 3 days in office and 2 days remote)

Duration: 12-month contract (Extendable up to 36 months)

Responsibilities:

• Provide in-depth analysis of application, system errors, and performance issues.
• Proactively analyze application stability, investigate performance concerns, system errors, and improve maintenance processes, automation, and resolution of open issues.
• Own problem root cause analysis and remediation.
• Investigate chronic issues for critical applications.
• Lead proactive monitoring reviews and implement improvements.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Application Development, and Infrastructure teams to implement fixes, code updates, configuration changes, and product enhancements in production.
• Manage CTO-level application responsibilities, including business continuity, PTO/PTB, NPT, server patching, vulnerability management, and access reviews.
• Provide on-call support for production releases.
• Coordinate patching activities.
• Execute disaster recovery and ARC exercises.
• Perform application installation, maintenance, and integration with CI tools like Jenkins, SonarQube, and Bitbucket.

Requirements:

• 7+ years of experience in production support.
• Specialized expertise in CI/CD tools.
• Strong knowledge of Ansible Tower, creating playbooks, Digital XLR, Python, Linux, AppDynamics, and Splunk.
• Experience with DevOps tools, incident and change management in production support.
• Hands-on experience with Ansible Tower, Digital XLR, and RedHat OpenShift Containers.
• Experience creating playbooks and automation tasks.
• Expertise in Unix systems, scripting with BASH and KSH.
• Proficiency in Python.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and root cause analysis.
• Good understanding of Oracle and Postgres databases.

Desired skills:

• Network troubleshooting, Jenkins, and source code management systems like Bitbucket.
