Job summary

Sephora invites driven students to join our DevOps, SRE & Platform Operations internship in the San Francisco Bay Area. You will work with Infra, Database, SRE, and Platform teams on projects delivering measurable reliability improvements and automation.

The program covers modern cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, observability, and infrastructure automation. You’ll present outcomes to engineers and leaders and gain hands-on experience with industry tools and practices.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technical field.
• Experience with at least one programming or scripting language (Python, Java, Go, JavaScript, or Bash).
• Foundational understanding of Linux, networking, APIs, Git, and cloud concepts.

Responsibilities

• Analyze operational workflows and platform metrics to identify automation opportunities.
• Develop scripts, dashboards, and workflows to reduce manual effort and improve visibility.
• Contribute to monitoring, infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD, and platform engineering initiatives.
• Document solutions with architecture guidance and runbooks for future use.
• Present findings and results to engineering and leadership audiences.
