Everforth Apex Systems seeks a DevOps Solutions Architect to design and govern enterprise DevEx services, platforms, and tooling. You will lead solution design, collaborate with delivery teams, and drive architectural standards in a fast-paced environment.

The role is based onsite in Charlotte, NC, with a focus on ownership, debt reduction, and mentorship of engineers. Ideal candidates have breadth across Linux/Windows, Java/.NET, cloud, security, and hands-on PoCs.

This role leads the solution design of those common services, platforms, and tools. The position requires a strong sense of ownership for both personal deliverables and value stream goals.Key Responsibilities* Creating technical designs for architecturally significant DevEx portfolio business and technical changes.* Collaborating with delivery teams on implementation according to design, standards, and best practices.* Evaluating vendor and in-house solutions against architecture standards and technical requirements.* Managing the value stream architecture runway and technical debt backlog with input from key stakeholders.* Collaborating with peer Solution Architects and Enterprise Architects on cohesive and consistent architecture approaches and best practices.* Providing clear, concise technical guidance to delivery partners, including developers and engineers.* Performing hands-on proof-of-concept work to assess the applicability and impact of technology and patterns on solution designs.Required Qualifications* Broad and deep experience designing solutions across varied software development platforms and environments including Linux, Windows, Java, .Net, PostGre, AI, LLM, Python, Javascript, vendor packages, and Tomcat/JBoss.* Technical expertise with DevOps automation and enablement technologies including Jenkins, Ansible/Tower, Jira, Git/Bitbucket, Artifactory, and SonarQube.* Design and/or development experience with complex, integrated, high-volume applications for resiliency and performance.* Knowledge of security aspects of integrated system design and associated protocols such as AAA and token-based authentication (oAuth/oIDC).* Process expertise across the software development lifecycle (SDLC), including requirements definition, build, test, deploy, release, and operate.* A strong, independent, and ownership-focused technical leader requiring minimal oversight.Preferred Qualifications* Prior experience in the banking industry is a plus. *Everforth Apex is a world-class IT services company that serves thousands of clients across the globe.
