Job summary

accelintjobboardtest is seeking a DevOps / Platform Engineer (Level II) to design and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automate infrastructure, and support containerized platforms in secure environments. This full-time role offers remote/hybrid work and requires an active U.S.

national security clearance. You will collaborate with software and cyber engineers, adapt to varying program needs, and leverage Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and other tools to deliver reliable, compliant solutions.

Qualifications

• Active U.S. national security clearance or ability to obtain one.
• CompTIA Security+ Certification or ability to obtain within 45 days of hire.
• 3+ years of experience with containerization, orchestration, CI/CD tools, IaC, Linux, and scripting.

DevOps / Platform Engineer (Level II)

Duties and Responsibilities

• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines teams rely on.
• Automate infrastructure so environments are predictable and supportable.
• Support containerized platforms in secure, regulated environments.
• Work directly with software and cyber engineers to solve delivery problems.
• Adjust to different program needs, priorities, and technical stacks.

Required Qualifications

• Currently holds an active U.S. national security clearance or be able to receive and maintain one.
• CompTIA Security+ Certification or the ability to obtain it within 45 days of hire.
• 3+ years of demonstrated experience with:
• • Containerization (e.g., Docker, Podman, Buildah)
  • Container Orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes, OpenShift, Helm)
  • CI/CD automation tools (e.g., GitLab, Jenkins, AWS Code Build)
  • Infrastructure-as-Code (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation)
  • Linux systems (e.g., RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu)
  • Automation and scripting (e.g., Bash, Python, PowerShell)

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, physics, or related field.
• Demonstrated experience with:
• • Cloud computing infrastructure or development (e.g., AWS, Azure)
  • Atlassian suite tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket)

Clearance Requirements

Some positions will require access to U.S. National Security information. Positions that require this access will be required to receive and maintain a U.S. government personnel security clearance (PCL). In order to qualify for this position, the candidate must be a U.S. Citizen and either currently possess this National Security eligibility or be able to complete the investigation application process with a favorable determination and maintain that eligibility throughout employment.
