Qualifications
- BS or MS in Computer Science or Engineering.
- Experience with Linux system administration in production.
- 2+ years developing production-grade software in Java or Go.
- Proficient with automation tools such as Terraform, Chef, or Puppet.
- Designed and deployed distributed systems.
- Strong problem-solving and communications skills.
Responsibilities
- Maintain core infrastructure by automating deployments and configuring services.
- Triage and fix operational issues in Linux environments as an on-call engineer.
- Design, implement, and deploy internal tools to accelerate engineering productivity.
- Help manage server hardware and participate in infrastructure evolution decisions.
- Occasional travel to Bay Area or New Jersey data centers for onsite projects.
