Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a DevOps & Infra Engineer to own CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and observability tooling that enable fast, reliable releases. This role sits within the MeshMesh Engineering team focused on a next‑generation mesh networking platform and AI‑assisted development workflows.

You will design and implement scalable CI/CD systems, manage cloud resources via infrastructure-as-code, and partner with engineers to reduce deployment friction while improving system reliability.

Qualifications

• 4–8 years of DevOps/Infra experience.
• Hands-on with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Experience running production systems in public cloud (AWS/GCP/Azure).
• Scripting and automation in Python, Bash, or Go.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.

The MeshMesh Engineering team is building the infrastructure backbone for our next-generation mesh networking platform. As a DevOps & Infra Engineer, you will own the CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and observability systems that let the team ship fast and reliably.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines that support rapid, reliable releases.
• Manage cloud infrastructure using infrastructure-as-code practices.
• Build monitoring, alerting, and observability tooling to catch issues before customers do.
• Partner with engineers across the team to remove deployment friction and improve system reliability.

Required Skills/Experience

• You have 4-8 years of experience.
• You have hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g. Terraform, CloudFormation).
• You have experience running production systems in a public cloud environment (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• You are skilled in scripting and automation (e.g. Python, Bash, Go).
• You have experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• You are an Agentic Engineer - you build with Claude and similar AI coding tools, using agent loops, tool use, and well-grounded context engineering to ship code fast.

Preferred Skills/Experience

• You have experience with container orchestration (e.g. Kubernetes).
• You have worked on infrastructure for a networking or IoT platform.

At Salesforce, we believe in equitable compensation practices that reflect the dynamic nature of labor markets across various regions. The typical base salary range for this position is $172,500 - $260,100 annually. In select cities within the San Francisco and New York City metropolitan area, the base salary range for this role is $207,800 - $285,800 annually. The range represents base salary only, and does not include company bonus, incentive for sales roles, equity or benefits, as applicable.
