Job summary

Salesforce’s MeshMesh Engineering team seeks a DevOps & Infra Engineer to own CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and observability for the next-generation mesh networking platform.

You will design, build, and maintain pipelines, manage infrastructure with IaC, and partner with engineers to ensure reliable deployments.

Qualifications

• 4-8 years of experience in software engineering or DevOps.
• Hands-on with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Experience running production systems in AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Scripting/automation in Python, Bash, or Go.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Agentic Engineer who uses Claude and AI tooling to accelerate shipping code.

The MeshMesh Engineering team is building the infrastructure backbone for our next-generation mesh networking platform. As a DevOps & Infra Engineer, you will own the CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and observability systems that let the team ship fast and reliably.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines that support rapid, reliable releases.
• Manage cloud infrastructure using infrastructure-as-code practices.
• Build monitoring, alerting, and observability tooling to catch issues before customers do.
• Partner with engineers across the team to remove deployment friction and improve system reliability.

Required Skills/Experience

• You have 4-8 years of experience.
• You have hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g. Terraform, CloudFormation).
• You have experience running production systems in a public cloud environment (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• You are skilled in scripting and automation (e.g. Python, Bash, Go).
• You have experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• You are an Agentic Engineer – you build with Claude and similar AI coding tools, using agent loops, tool use, and well-grounded context engineering to ship code fast.

Preferred Skills/Experience

• You have experience with container orchestration (e.g. Kubernetes).
• You have worked on infrastructure for a networking or IoT platform.

At Salesforce, we believe in equitable compensation practices that reflect the dynamic nature of labor markets across various regions. The typical base salary range for this position is $172,500 – $260,100 annually. In select cities within the San Francisco and New York City metropolitan area, the base salary range for this role is $207,800 – $285,800 annually. The range represents base salary only, and does not include company bonus, incentive for sales roles, equity or benefits, as applicable.
