Qualificações

Responsabilidades

• Set up and maintain validation platforms and equipment.
• Monitor lab infrastructure (power, air, network) and coordinate with Workplace/IT.
• Reconfigure validation platforms and SLT test head per project plan.
• Perform hardware rework, SMT soldering and debug assistance as needed.
• Set up, maintain, and complete SLT testing per project requirements.
• Coordinate with external vendors for maintenance and repair of lab equipment.
• Arrange calibration schedules and service contracts for equipment.
• Evaluate new equipment offerings and arrange demos with lab users.
• Coordinate shipments of chips and equipment among Arm sites per project plans.
• Maintain lab inventory and procure minor lab equipment/tools.

Job Description

This is a unique opportunity to join the Arm's Silicon Solutions Test Team working with groundbreaking 3nm process technologies and the latest 2.5D and 3D packaging innovations. The test team works closely with IP, SoC Design, Product and Systems teams throughout the company, to represent test engineering and drive test capability development within Arm. We will play a key role in preparing Arm and our partners for how to address production challenges in areas such as 2.5D/3DIC and sub-3nm nodes. The lab technician role requires hardworking focus across areas such as: lab improvement projects, lab maintenance/organization, procurement and setup of lab equipment, occasional platform test execution, board solder rework, and additional lab-related tasks. Guidance will be provided by engineers, as required.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain validation platforms and associated equipment
• Monitor lab infrastructure (power, compressed dry air, network), work with Workplace and IT teams on any issues
• Reconfigure validation platforms and SLT test head as needed, per project plan
• Hardware rework, SMT soldering and debug assistance and probing per lab user needs
• Set up, maintain, and complete SLT testing per project requirements
• Coordinate with external vendors to maintain and repair lab equipment and facilities
• Arrange and maintain equipment calibration plans, schedules and service contracts
• Evaluate new equipment offerings, arrange demos, and work with lab users to obtain feedback
• Coordinate shipments of chips and equipment among Arm sites per project plans and debug needs
• Maintain lab inventory of both products/assets and consumables, identify/order minor lab equipment/tools

Essential Skills and Experience

• Familiar with SLT test engineering lab environment
• Good understanding of procedures for handling ESD-sensitive equipment
• Basic understanding of information security and network security
• Experience with solder rework of boards/electronics
• demonstrated ability in lab technician and/or lab management role

Desirable Skills and Experience

• Scripting experience (python, perl, or similar)
• Basic data analysis using Excel or similar
• Experience with SLT part handlers
• Diploma in Electrical and Electronic Sciences
