Job summary

Zeal, an AI-enabled software consultancy, seeks an outstanding DevOps Engineer for our U.S. hubs: Dallas, Houston, Atlanta, Chicago, Minneapolis, Denver, and Portland.

You will design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions), manage infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible), and containerize with Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.

Qualifications

• Experience designing, building, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using industry-standard tools.
• Proficiency with infrastructure as code (Terraform) and configuration management (Ansible).
• Hands-on experience with containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm).
• Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell) and YAML proficiency.
• Experience with monitoring/observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana) and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Excellent communication and ability to collaborate in a consulting environment.

What you bring to the table

• Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell) and comfort with YAML.
• Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform) and configuration management (Ansible).
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tooling (Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• Experience with containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm).
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana).
• Working knowledge of at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with the ability to use AI tools to improve productivity.

Bonus points if you…

• Experience across more than one cloud platform (AWS, Azure, and GCP).
• Experience with GitOps workflows.
• Security and compliance automation experience.
• A background in a consulting or client-facing environment.

Compensation is $80,000 - $130,000 per year.
