The Opportunity

Strategio is hiring a DevOps Engineer for a high-impact opportunity with a financial institution. This role blends cloud infrastructure fluency, platform engineering, automation, and cross‑functional collaboration.

You will play a central role in optimizing infrastructure, improving deployment pipelines, and building tools that elevate developer productivity. From Terraform to Kubernetes, your expertise will be used to create scalable systems that empower developers and accelerate secure software delivery.

About You

You’re a mission‑driven builder who thrives in technical ambiguity and fast‑moving environments. With a background in DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering, you know how to make systems run smoothly and scale sustainably.

As a Strategio DevOps Engineer, you will:

• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD platform infrastructure, best practices, pipelines, and more. Automate build, test, and deployment processes.
• Manage code repos and workflows, resolve merge conflicts, and manage branching strategies.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and management, ensuring consistency across environments.
• Build and manage containerized applications, orchestrating containers in production environments.
• Automate tasks with Python, Groovy, Go, Rust, or JavaScript.
• Deploy and manage platforms/applications in cloud environments, optimizing cloud resources for cost and performance.
• Partner with cross‑functional teams to enhance developer experience and productivity.

Core Skills

• Proven experience with CI/CD (Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub Actions)
• Proven experience managing source control (Bitbucket, GitLab, Git)
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
• Experience building and managing containerized applications (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm)
