Job summary

Navstar seeks a seasoned DevOps professional to enhance and modernize our product delivery lifecycle. You will help build and maintain scalable, secure environments, lead a small DevOps team, and ensure reliable deployments across development, testing, and production.

The role requires strong automation, monitoring, and collaboration with engineering and security teams. The candidate should have hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Grafana dashboards, and Git-based CI/CD pipelines, and must hold

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph is required.
• Experience deploying with Kubernetes for container orchestration.
• Familiarity with Grafana dashboards and monitoring.
• Proficient with CI/CD pipelines and source control (Git).
• Knowledge of security practices and system hardening.
• Strong OS and application deployment/automation experience.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Identify deficiencies in product delivery lifecycle and implement industry best practices.
• Oversee hiring input for a small DevOps team.
• Patch and upgrade existing products for reliability in customer environments.
• Maintain development, testing, and production environments.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines for efficiency.
• Apply configuration management and hardening best practices.
• Develop and maintain system backups, DR, and monitoring solutions.
• Test system integrity and deployments; drive improvements as needed.
• Coordinate deployments and updates using CI/CD tools and Git.
