Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Systems seeks a DevOps Engineer (Level 3 or 4) to join the El Segundo team onsite. You will design and operate automated CI/CD pipelines, IaC with Terraform and Ansible, and manage Kubernetes-based deployments for mission-critical software in a SCIF.

You will collaborate with software and operations teams to ensure high availability, security, and real-time telemetry, while mentoring junior engineers and adhering to aerospace standards.

Qualifications

• Requires Top-Secret/SCI clearance at time of application.
• 5+ years of DevOps experience for Level 4; 3+ years for Level 3.
• Experience with IaC, Terraform & Ansible; Jira metrics reporting.

Responsibilities

• Automate cloud native technologies and deploy infrastructure.
• Work with microservices, containers, Kubernetes, and serverless tech.
• Configure OpenStack cloud environments and optimize deployment.
• Ensure monitoring and health of resources (Nagios or equivalents).
• Document procedures used during deployment cycles; mentor team.
