Job summary

CACI is seeking a senior DevOps Engineer to join an agile team supporting cloud-hosted applications in a highly mission-focused environment. This role emphasizes secure, scalable AWS architectures, CI/CD pipelines, and deploying COTS applications on the Sponsor cloud.

You will collaborate with software developers, system engineers, and DBAs, driving automation with AWS CDK, Docker, Kubernetes, and scripting (bash/python).

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
• 7+ years' background in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, Cyber Forensics, Engineering, or related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience working in software engineering, application development and/or web application development and deployment.
• Minimum 5 years of production AWS experience with demonstrated proficiency in AWS CDK for Infrastructure as Code.
• Experience with incident and problem management.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology and experience working in Agile team environment.
• Experience working with source code management tools such as GitHub, or GitLab Git, JIRA, Jenkins.
• Demonstrated experience with Linux and DevOps practices.
• Experience with scripting languages such as bash or python.

Responsibilities

• Support the team in the creation and maintenance of documentation for standard operating procedures and provide on-call support.
• Operate effectively across organizational boundaries and manage competing priorities between teams.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience working in software engineering, application development and/or web application development and deployment

• Experience with incident and problem management.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex problems in Web based distributed systems
• Experience in implementing and/or developing solutions to monitor software systems
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology and experience working in Agile team environment
• Experience working with source code management tools such as GitHub, or GitLab Git, JIRA, Jenkins
