Job summary

TikTok USDS Joint Venture LLC seeks a Senior Platform Engineer to design, build, and operate CI/CD tooling across multiple environments, with a focus on security and compliance. You will partner with engineering teams and assurance partners to keep builds auditable and deployments resilient.

Role emphasizes least-privilege IAM, SBOM tooling, and robust disaster recovery planning within OCI/AWS environments. On-site collaboration is required for a fast-paced, cross-team workflow.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong software engineering skills with Python/Go/Java.
• Hands-on experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, Jenkins).
• Experience with at least one major cloud provider (OCI/AWS/GCP) and IAM concepts.
• Hands-on experience with artifact repositories (Artifactory/Nexus) for images and packages.
• Experience integrating security scanning tools into CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong communication and collaboration with developers and partner teams.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve CI/CD pipelines for backend/platform services, improving reliability, speed, and developer experience with security checks.
• Implement and manage software supply chain security controls, SBOM generation and attestation.
• Automate policy-as-code gates within CI/CD, including secrets scanning and vulnerability analysis.
• Ensure auditability with immutable logs and traceable deployment records; support assurance requests.
• Design and enforce least-privilege IAM in cloud environments; manage secrets hygiene.
• Develop incident playbooks and postmortems for build/deploy failures and security events.
• Standardize deployment workflows (blue/green, canary, automated rollback) in major cloud environments.
