Job summary

Xenon Innovations, Inc. is seeking a DevOps/Build Engineer to design and operate CI/CD pipelines across embedded, firmware, and application targets.

You will manage toolchains, automate tests, and improve build times while maintaining air-gapped release environments and secure development domains. The role covers infrastructure-as-code, artifact management, and release packaging, with a TS/SCI clearance as a preferred/required credential.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science or equivalent hands-on experience.
• 4+ years in DevOps, build engineering, or platform engineering.
• Hands-on experience with Bitbucket, GitLab CI, or equivalent.
• Experience with containerization and infrastructure-as-code.
• Strong scripting ability in Python and Bash.
• Linux system administration depth, TS/SCI clearance.

Responsibilities

• Own CI/CD pipelines across embedded, firmware, and application build targets.
• Manage compilation toolchains, build reproducibility, and dependency caching.
• Automate test execution, including hardware-in-the-loop test integration where applicable.
• Reduce build and feedback times as a standing objective.
• Provision and maintain development, integration, and test environments across security domains.
• Operate artifact repositories, container registries, and internal package mirrors.
• Manage transfer and synchronization for air-gapped enclaves.
• Own baseline definition, versioning, and release packaging for delivered software and firmware.
• Maintain configuration management records supporting program baseline control.
• Build and validate installation, update, and rollback procedures for fielded systems.
• Manage infrastructure-as-code for development and test infrastructure.
• Administer source control, issue tracking, and engineering tooling.
• Support capacity planning and infrastructure lifecycle.
