Job summary

Knonix is seeking a DevOps Engineer in Annapolis Junction, MD to design and automate secure, scalable delivery platforms across cloud environments. You will build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, IaC with Terraform/CloudFormation/Bicep, and containerized deployments using Docker and Kubernetes.

The role requires hands-on cloud engineering experience, scripting skills, and the ability to implement DevSecOps practices across the full software delivery lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Hands-on with Terraform, CloudFormation or equivalent IaC tools.
• Proficient in at least one scripting language.
• Knowledge of DevSecOps and cloud security controls.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, configure, and maintain DevOps platforms and cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Develop and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines for secure software delivery.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code with Terraform, CloudFormation, or equivalent tools.
• Build deployment tooling with Python, PowerShell, Bash, or similar.
• Manage source control, branching, release management, and deployment workflows.
• Support containerized delivery using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Configure monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability solutions.
• Investigate incidents and optimize performance and security.
