Job summary

Peak Energy seeks a DevOps Engineer to design, build, and scale cloud infrastructure for its grid-scale battery storage software. You will develop automated deployment pipelines and manage infrastructure as code to support rapid growth from pilot deployments to production systems.

You will collaborate with software, test, and manufacturing teams to improve automation, reliability, and observability, while ensuring security and performance across cloud environments.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in DevOps or related role.
• Hands-on with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or equivalent).
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions/Azure DevOps/Jenkins).
• Experience provisioning cloud infra (Azure/AWS/GCP).
• Experience deploying PostgreSQL or similar databases.
• Proficiency in Python or Bash for automation.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud networking.
• Security, monitoring, and observability basics.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain Peak's cloud infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines.
• Manage cloud resources via Infrastructure as Code.
• Collaborate with software and test teams to integrate testing.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting.
