Job summary

Peak Energy is seeking a DevOps Engineer to build and scale cloud infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and automation systems for their grid-scale battery storage technology. You will collaborate with software, test, and manufacturing teams to improve automation, reliability, and scalability across the software stack.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in DevOps, infrastructure engineering, platform engineering, or related roles.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code, particularly Terraform or equivalent tooling.
• Experience designing, building, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or similar tools.
• Experience provisioning, configuring, and managing cloud infrastructure on Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Experience deploying and managing cloud databases, including PostgreSQL or similar relational database systems.
• Proficiency in Python, Bash, or other scripting languages for infrastructure automation.
• Experience with cloud networking, access management, monitoring, and infrastructure security.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or containerized deployments.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure supporting Peak's software and data pipelines.
• Develop and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines for builds, testing, and deployment across environments.
• Define, provision, and manage cloud resources using Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform.
• Collaborate with software and test engineering teams to integrate automated testing and validation.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting to improve reliability and observability.
