Job summary

MANTECH is hiring a DevOps Engineer to manage bare-metal Linux servers and multi-cluster Kubernetes in air-gapped environments. You will build and maintain GPU-enabled infrastructure and GitOps pipelines using ArgoCD, Rancher, and standard CI/CD tools.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years of Linux admin experience, 2+ years Kubernetes experience (CKA optional), and familiarity with GitLab/Bitbucket. Onsite role in Herndon, VA with comprehensive benefits and security clearances.

Qualifications

4+ years Linux system administration experience
Experience in Enterprise Linux environments
2+ years Kubernetes experience or active CKA credential
1+ years experience with GitLab or Bitbucket for CI/CD workflows
Bachelor’s Degree in CS or related field (preferred)
Experience deploying in air-gapped networks and implementing GitOps pipelines

Responsibilities

Administer, secure, and maintain bare-metal servers running Enterprise Linux
Provision, upgrade, and manage multi-cluster Kubernetes environments using Rancher
Develop YAML manifests and Helm charts for Kubernetes resources
Build GitOps-driven deployment pipelines with ArgoCD
Maintain CI/CD pipelines and version control workflows using GitLab or Bitbucket
Document work in JIRA and Confluence
