Job summary

Fuse Integration in San Diego seeks an experienced DevOps professional to help build, ship, and secure mission-critical software across platforms and environments. You will touch all stages of the SDLC in a dynamic, collaborative setting.

The role emphasizes containerized deployments, CI/CD automation, cloud tooling (AWS/Azure), and strong Linux proficiency. Secret clearance and US citizenship are required for this position.

Qualifications

• 2-6 years of experience in DevOps.
• 2+ years of hands on experience in a strongly typed language developing complex software systems, preferably C++.
• Experience building, orchestrating, and deploying container applications at scale.
• Hands-on experience with Python, Bash, CMake, and node.js/React.
• Solid Linux OS knowledge: RHEL, Ubuntu, RPM.
• Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines, preferably in GitLab.
• Experience integrating static application security testing and code metrics tooling.
• Familiarity with agile development process.
• Ability to obtain US Secret clearance.
• US Citizen

Responsibilities

• Develop complex, mission critical software in a collaborative environment.
• Perform design and code reviews for quality and security.
• Manage container builds, provisioning, and deployment.
• Develop test automation scripts.
• Support functional and system level testing.
• Troubleshoot and address bugs/issues arising from testing and integration.
• Provide input for system documentation.
• Coordinate with Project Management to maintain release schedules.
• Develop, maintain DevOps environment: Jenkins, GitLab CI, SonarQube, Nexus, Ansible, Podman/Docker, RPM, build tools, code metrics.
• Manage cloud tooling, orchestration, and deployment on AWS and Azure.
• Suggest new pipeline tooling to improve efficiency, security, quality.
• Maintain development network and assets, repos, and on-prem Jira/Gitlab servers.
• Enforce Software Development Process across projects.
