Job summary

Sierra Nevada Corporation seeks a skilled DevOps Engineer II to lead CI/CD development, deployment, and optimization. You will work with development and operations teams to automate workflows, ensure reliability, and support continuous integration and delivery practices.

The role emphasizes security and compliance across systems, with heavy collaboration across IAS/ISR domains and a focus on cloud-based infrastructure and toolchains. This office-based role requires an active U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in DevOps or related role.
• Higher level relevant degree may substitute for experience.
• Relevant experience can be considered as a substitute for the required educational qualifications. In the absence of a degree, a minimum of 6 years of related experience is required.
• Proficiency with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD).
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Strong scripting skills in languages such as Python or Bash.
• Experience with containerization tools (e.g., Docker).
• Experience in Azure or AWS.
• CI/CD Pipeline experience.
• Scripting: Bash, PowerShell, Python (Boto3), AWS CLI, or Azure CLI.
• Current/Active Secret U.S. Security Clearance

Responsibilities

• Develop, deploy, and optimize CI/CD pipelines.
• Implement and maintain cloud-based infrastructure solutions.
• Automate workflows and deployment processes to enhance efficiency.
• Monitor and troubleshoot system performance issues.
• Ensure security and compliance across all systems and applications.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate new features and improvements.
• Document processes, tools, and best practices.
