Job summary

Level Data is seeking a mid-level DevOps Engineer to develop and maintain scalable infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and on-prem environments. You will partner with Software Engineering and Security to provide a stable, secure hosting stack for education software services.

You will own well-scoped work end-to-end, contribute to larger initiatives, and grow into broader system ownership while collaborating with cross-functional teams on delivery and tooling.

Qualifications

• Mid-level DevOps engineer with hands-on experience across multiple clouds.
• Experience implementing and maintaining infrastructure for production workloads.
• Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell) and automation mindset.

Responsibilities

• Build, deploy, and maintain infrastructure across production, QA, and development environments.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Flux CD, GitLab, and Azure DevOps.
• Write and maintain automation with Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting; participate in on-call and incident response.
• Collaborate with engineering, security, and operations to unblock delivery.
• Apply security and compliance controls in infrastructure and pipelines (DevSecOps).
• Manage resources across AWS/Azure/GCP and surface cost-saving opportunities.
