Job summary

Assured Information Security (AIS) is hiring a DevOps Engineer II for the Trusted Systems team to support engineering platforms and microservices used across multiple DoD customers.

The role expects a Bachelor's degree in CS/Systems Eng or related field with 2 years' experience and proficiency in Linux, automation tools, Git/SVN, and cloud platforms (Azure/AWS). You will work on CI/CD with GitLab, container orchestration, and infrastructure automation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering or related field with 2 years' experience or equivalent
• Familiarity with automation tools and Linux
• Experience with version control (Git/SVN)
• Experience deploying and managing containerized apps in Kubernetes
• Familiarity with IaaS and PaaS
• Understanding of DevSecOps and SDL
• Experience with Linux resources, virtualization, and CI/CD pipelines

Responsibilities

• Develop infrastructure and automate tasks using Ansible and scripting
• Manage CI/CD pipelines with GitLab
• Install and support Kubernetes/OpenShift/Docker Swarm environments
• Manage Azure and AWS cloud resources
• Collaborate with teams and stakeholders
• Integrate capabilities with other software/test teams
• Stay updated on cybersecurity threats and contribute to R&D
• Maintain system build documentation
