Job summary

Knife River Corporation is seeking a DevOps Engineer to build, automate, and maintain infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment processes for internal applications. You will work with development teams to improve reliability, security, and speed of software delivery, while supporting availability and monitoring across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Four years of IT experience with increasing responsibility in systems administration, infrastructure automation, or software deployment.
• Two years of experience using AI-assisted development tools and AI-driven automation workflows.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance build, release and infrastructure systems.
• Review and document modifications to existing pipelines and infrastructure processes.
• Provide production support for pipelines and environments, including on-call duties.
• Develop deployment plans, test environments and documentation for automation projects.
• Ensure data security measures across automation and delivery processes.
• Stay current with emerging technologies to improve deployment efficiency.
