Job summary

Verisk Analytics is seeking a DevOps Engineer 2 to support AWS cloud infrastructure, CI/CD automation, and production reliability. You will partner with software, security, and operations teams to build scalable cloud solutions, implement IaC, and drive automation, monitoring, and cost awareness across enterprise platforms.

You will work on containerized services, on-call rotations, and deployment support, delivering secure, observable, and efficient systems in a collaborative, hybrid

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years in DevOps/Cloud/SRE roles with AWS experience.
• 2+ years in AWS cloud environments and operating production systems.

Responsibilities

• Support AWS cloud infra and automation following security standards.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• Assist with containerized apps using Docker, ECS, EKS.
• Enhance observability with CloudWatch, Splunk, and related tools.
• Participate in on-call, incident response, and root cause analysis.
• Collaborate across engineering, security, and operations to improve efficiency.
• Document processes and improve automation and cloud cost awareness.
