Job summary

OpenTalent is seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer 2 to support the implementation, automation, and operation of AWS cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices. You will help build and maintain infrastructure, improve CI/CD pipelines, support deployments, and contribute to the reliability, security, and performance of production systems.

Collaborate with software engineering, security, architecture, and operations teams to deliver scalable cloud solutions, document processes, and drive automation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years in DevOps, Cloud/SRE/Infrastructure roles.
• 2+ years hands-on AWS experience.
• Working knowledge of AWS services (EC2, VPC, IAM, ECS, EKS, Lambda, RDS, S3, CloudFormation, CloudWatch, Route 53, ELB, Auto Scaling).
• Experience building/maintaining CI/CD pipelines with GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, CodePipeline.
• IaC experience with CDK and/or CloudFormation.
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Scripting in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Experience in deployment/production support, including on-call rotations.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation, maintenance, and improvement of AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Build, update, and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• Assist with containerized applications using Docker, ECS, and EKS.
• Contribute to infrastructure automation, monitoring, logging, and observability.
• Participate in production support, incident response, and RCA activities.
• Collaborate with software, security, architecture, and infrastructure teams on DevOps/DevSecOps practices and cloud migrations.
• Document processes and identify opportunities to improve automation, reliability, and cloud cost awareness.
