Job summary

OpenTalent in Jersey City, NJ seeks a skilled DevOps Engineer II to implement, automate, and operate AWS cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices. You will build and maintain infrastructure, improve CI/CD pipelines, and support deployments to production.

Collaborate with software engineers, security, and operations to deliver scalable, reliable, and secure cloud solutions; contribute to automation, monitoring, and incident response, including on-call rotations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in CS/Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years in DevOps/SRE/Infrastructure roles.
• 2+ years managing AWS environments and services.

Responsibilities

• Support AWS infrastructure via IaC (CDK/CloudFormation) with security and operations standards.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, GitHub Actions, CodePipeline, and related tools.
• Assist with containerized apps using Docker, ECS, and EKS.
• Improve observability with CloudWatch, Splunk, and related tooling.
• Participate in production support, incident response, and deployment support.
