Job summary

• Hands‑on experience with Docker, Artifactory, and SonarQube.
• Proficiency in Bash, Python, or similar scripting language.
• Knowledge of Git, branching strategies, PRs, and release management.
• Experience troubleshooting CI/CD pipelines and collaborating with software teams.
• Familiarity with Linux systems and secure management of pipeline credentials.

We are looking for a mid-level DevOps Engineer to build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for enterprise applications. The ideal candidate has hands‑on experience with GitHub Enterprise Server, GitHub Actions, reusable workflows, Docker, Artifactory, and SonarQube. This role will work closely with development, QA, and security teams to improve build reliability, automate deployments, and standardize engineering workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and GitHub Enterprise Server.
• Create reusable workflows, workflow templates, and composite actions that development teams can adopt across repositories.
• Manage self-hosted runners, repository settings, permissions, secrets, and branch protection rules.
• Build and maintain Docker images and support container‑based build and deployment processes.
• Integrate Artifactory for package and container image management and SonarQube for code quality checks.
• Automate build, test, security scan, and deployment steps across development and production environments.
• Work with developers to resolve pipeline failures, improve build times, and document standard practices.
• Support infrastructure and deployment automation using scripting and infrastructure‑as‑code tools.

Required Qualifications

• 5–6 years of experience in DevOps, build engineering, platform engineering, or a related role.
• Strong hands‑on experience with GitHub Actions, including YAML workflows, reusable workflows, templates, and self-hosted runners.
• Strong experience administering or supporting GitHub Enterprise Server.
• Hand‑on experience with Docker, Artifactory, and SonarQube.
• Proficiency in Bash, Python, or a similar scripting language.
• Hand‑on knowledge of Git, branching strategies, pull requests, and release management.
• Experience troubleshooting CI/CD pipelines and collaborating with software development teams.
• Familiarity with Linux systems, access controls, and secure management of pipeline credentials.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Kubernetes and deployment tools such as Helm or Argo CD.
• Familiarity with Terraform or other infrastructure‑as‑code tools.
• Exposure to AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience integrating automated tests, dependency scans, and container scans into CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or Splunk.
