Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise in Puerto Rico is seeking a hands-on DevOps Engineer to build, automate, and operate secure delivery platforms for enterprise apps powered by Generative AI and modern web technologies.

You will own CI/CD pipelines, container platforms, AWS infrastructure, observability, and safety checks across on-prem and AWS. Hybrid work with 2 days/week in-office in San Juan area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, ML, AI, or related field.
• 4–6 years of relevant DevOps or SRE/platform engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, maintain, and improve automated build, test, security-scan, deployment, rollback, and release pipelines.
• Operate Docker-based workloads and Kubernetes/k3s clusters, including on-premises sandboxes.
• Provision and manage secure AWS infrastructure with repeatable automation and IAM controls.
• Implement metrics, logs, traces, dashboards, alerts, and incident response; support RCAs and capacity planning.
• Build reusable Python and pytest utilities and integrate validation into CI/CD workflows.
• Support deployment, tracing, regression checks, safety controls, latency monitoring, and cost visibility for GenAI services.
