Job summary

Rhombus Power Inc. in Palo Alto seeks a hands-on DevOps Engineer to own the systems that move our defense-grade software from developer laptops to production and edge environments.

You will work across cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, containers, observability, security, and edge deployment. This role demands strong fundamentals, curiosity, and the ability to solve complex problems in fast-paced defense contexts.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in DevOps, Platform Eng, or similar.
• Strong Linux, networking, systems foundations.
• Experience building and running CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes and container deployments.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• IaC experience (Terraform, CloudFormation, Pulumi).
• Strong automation and monitoring skills.
• Security-minded, with on-call experience.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end deployment lifecycle from source to production and edge deployment.
• Build and improve CI/CD systems for rapid, reliable releases.
• Automate deployments across cloud, on-premises, and edge environments.
• Manage infrastructure as code across cloud and edge locations.
• Deploy and operate containerized apps with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Create tooling to automate repetitive processes.
• Support secure delivery, access controls, secrets management.
• Participate in on-call rotation for production systems.
• Collaborate with engineers to improve architecture and reliability.
• Troubleshoot issues across full stack and drive to resolution.
