Job summary

GRVTY is seeking DevOps Engineers for multiple openings to support secure, mission-focused cloud, edge, and container environments. You will help automate infrastructure, deploy workloads, and maintain reliability across teams.

Candidates should have strong Kubernetes and AWS experience, Terraform/Ansible, and scripting in Python, Bash, or Go. This role may require on-site work at customer locations in MD/TX/VA with some hybrid options from our Columbia, MD office.

Qualifications

• Active DoD security clearance (Secret or higher) and U.S. citizenship; TS/SCI may be required.
• General openings: 5+ years experience with related degree; 3 years with related master's; 9 years with HS diploma.
• Lead openings: 9+ years with bachelor's; 7+ with master's; 13+ with HS diploma.
• Kubernetes or comparable container orchestration, Linux admin, and cloud deployment.
• AWS services (EKS, EC2, S3, etc.) with Terraform or Ansible.
• Automation with Python, Bash, or Go; Git/Flux familiarity.
• Strong problem solving, communication, and Agile delivery skills.
• Ability to meet onsite travel requirements; up to five days/week at customer site.
• DoD 8140/8570-compliant cert such as Security+ may be required at start or after hire.
• Candidates considered for openings matching their skills; not all specialties required.

Responsibilities

• Develop, deploy, and maintain secure AWS infrastructure, including Kubernetes environments.
• Build and improve CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize performance and reliability of applications and clusters.
• Collaborate with engineering and customer stakeholders on deployment processes.
• Write automation scripts in Python, Bash, or Go.
• Maintain documentation and participate in Agile delivery.
• Mentor teammates and coordinate engineering work for senior openings.
