Job summary

MANTECH in Herndon, VA is seeking a motivated DevOps Engineer to join a team delivering automation and big data analytics for the IC community. You will deploy AWS resources, build CI/CD pipelines, and support secure, scalable cloud and on-prem infrastructures.

The role requires hands-on experience with AWS, Linux, Kubernetes, Terraform, and scripting, plus collaboration across software, data, and security teams to meet mission-critical requirements.

Qualifications

• BS in CS or equivalent with 3+ years of technical experience, or HS diploma with 7+ years of experience.
• 3+ years of DevOps, front end, or full stack development experience.
• Experience with Bash scripting and AWS environments.
• Linux administration and systems design experience.
• Experience creating CI/CD pipelines and patching in security contexts.
• Familiarity with network documentation and security compliance.

Responsibilities

• Deploying and provisioning AWS resources (EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, VPC).
• Building, maintaining, and troubleshooting CI/CD processes (GitLab, GitHub).
• Running vulnerability scans and applying patches for security compliance.
• Designing and maintaining Kubernetes/EKS clusters for high availability.
• Collaborating with stakeholders to ensure complete, compliant systems.
• Recommending and implementing process and policy improvements.
