Job summary

MANTECH is seeking a motivated AWS Cloud Engineer to join our Annapolis Junction team. This role focuses on delivering enterprise infrastructure capabilities and requires 20 years of experience in systems administration or cloud engineering, proficiency in AWS, and security compliance knowledge.

Key responsibilities include providing Tier 2 support for cloud environments, maintaining robust deployment workflows, and collaborating with development teams on CI/CD pipelines. A bachelor's degree and IAT II certification are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline.
• 20 years experience in Systems Administration or Cloud Engineering.
• Must hold an IAT II certification (e.g., Security+).
• Proficiency in RHEL and Windows Server environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 2 administration and support for cloud environments.
• Architect and maintain cloud environments primarily within AWS.
• Develop and implement automation scripts using SaltStack.
• Collaborate with development teams for CI/CD processes.
• Monitor system performance and respond to incidents.
