Job summary

Software Mind is seeking an experienced DevOps/Cloud/Platform engineer to run and evolve an AWS-first Kubernetes platform (EKS, OpenTofu/Terraform) and to build reusable GitLab CI/CD components with GitOps deployments with ArgoCD. You will deploy, secure, and operate AI agents for operations, keep production running through upgrades, patching, observability, and incident response.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on DevOps/Cloud/Platform engineering experience.
• Strong production-grade AWS experience (EKS, IAM, VPC, S3, RDS/Aurora).
• Kubernetes with Helm in production; GitOps (ArgoCD); Terraform/OpenTofu; CI/CD with GitLab CI.

Job description

• Current focus is an AWS-first Kubernetes platform (EKS, OpenTofu/Terraform, GitLab CI, ArgoCD, observability) with in-house AI agents for operations.
• GCP is the second cloud on other Cloud Mind projects.

Role:

• Run and develop an AWS and Kubernetes platform (EKS, ECS, Lambda, networking, IAM) with OpenTofu/Terraform.
• Build and maintain reusable GitLab CI/CD components with built-in security and quality gates, and GitOps deployments with ArgoCD.
• Deploy, secure, and operate AI agents for operations, and keep production running through upgrades, patching, observability, and incident response.
• 5+ years of hands-on DevOps/Cloud/Platform engineering experience.
• Strong production-grade AWS experience (EKS, IAM, VPC, S3, RDS/Aurora).
• Kubernetes and Helm in production; GitOps (ArgoCD); Terraform/OpenTofu; CI/CD preferably GitLab CI; scripting (Bash, Python); Linux fundamentals; observability stacks; understanding of AI-agentic architectures.
