Job summary

U.S. Bank in Irving, TX is seeking a Software Engineer - DevOps to design, build, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines across cloud and on‑prem environments.

The role focuses on automation, container orchestration with Kubernetes, security best practices, and reliable production support, with opportunities to influence release workflows and performance optimizations in a banking context.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Computer Technology.
• Two years of DevOps engineering experience in banking/finance is required.
• Experience with CI/CD pipeline automation, cloud provisioning and Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using CloudBees/Jenkins.
• Automate provisioning, configuration, and deployment across GCP, AWS, Azure and on-prem environments.
• Deploy, manage, and optimize services on Kubernetes clusters (Rancher) across cloud, virtual and on‑prem.
• Monitor service health and provide on‑call support for issues and security events.
• Manage software releases, versioning and artifact management with Agile/Scrum coordination.
