Job summary

Betsson Group is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer for the Wallet department to advance containerization, cloud deployment, and scalable infra. You will guide backend and frontend teams, owning CI/CD pipelines and improving automation, monitoring, and reliability across a multi-brand platform.

Qualifications

• Experience with GitHub Actions and Octopus, with focus on deployment automation.
• Proficiency with Prometheus/Grafana and observability practices.
• Experience with custom-built NGINX setups and complex routing.
• Strong knowledge of AWS (EC2, ALB, VPC, EKS), Terraform and modules.
• Proven experience setting up Kubernetes clusters, ideally AWS EKS and Rancher RKE.
• Ability to write scripts in Python, Bash, PowerShell or similar for automation and tooling.
• Proficient in Git and versioned source control.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration skills; able to work with Gaming teams and Infra/Ops DevOps engineers.
• Solid understanding of DevOps culture and ITIL best practices.
• Problem-solving mindset with ability to resolve complex technical issues efficiently.
• Act as a technical enabler for development teams, providing tooling, guidance, and support across environments.

Responsibilities

• Own and improve CI/CD pipelines and automation.
• Lead migration from Octopus to GitHub Actions and drive developer-led deployments.
• Design and evolve monitoring with Prometheus/Grafana and integrate observability into CI/CD workflows.
• Ensure robust tracing, logging, and metrics correlation across services.
• Support and extend custom infrastructure components to handle increased traffic and complex routing.
• Collaborate with Wallet teams and DevOps engineers to provide tooling across environments.
