Job summary

Bally's Corporation is seeking a DevOps Engineer to modernize, scale, and ensure reliability of our infrastructure across AWS and on‑prem environments. You will collaborate with software engineers, broadcast engineers, and product managers to advance a cloud-first, AI-enabled DevOps practice.

You will own CI/CD across backend, web, mobile and CTV apps, enhance observability and incident response, and automate toil. This role favors problem solvers who design robust, scalable systems at Bally's.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 2-5 years hands-on DevOps or platform engineering with a cloud focus.
• Experience with core AWS services (EC2, ECS/EKS, VPC, IAM, RDS, OpenSearch, CloudWatch).
• IaC with Terraform and Ansible; modular, remote state management.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines.
• Observability and incident-response tooling (Datadog, PagerDuty).
• Solid Linux, networking, and distributed systems knowledge.
• Experience with container workloads (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS/EKS, ArgoCD).
• Scripting in Bash, Python, or Go.
• Willingness for on-call rotation during live events.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate to design scalable, secure infrastructure in AWS and on-prem.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code with Terraform and Ansible.
• Improve reliability, observability, and cost-efficiency of systems.
• Modernize CI/CD with AI-assisted tooling for safe, rapid delivery.
• Enhance monitoring, logging, and tracing with AIOps approaches.
• Contribute to engineering standards and design reviews.
• Promote platform consistency across teams and on-call coverage.
• Provide on-call support during live events.
