Job summary

eNGINE is seeking a DevOps Engineer to support application delivery, platform engineering, and infrastructure automation for an eNGINE customer in the Waterfront area. This hands-on role focuses on building deployment pipelines, scripting build processes, and improving tools and workflows that help development teams deliver software reliably.

Qualifications

• Professional experience in DevOps, build and release engineering, platform engineering, or a related discipline.
• Experience creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for software build and deployment processes.
• Proficiency with scripting and automation, such as PowerShell, Python, or similar languages.
• Experience working within a Microsoft technology environment.
• Understanding of application build processes, deployment workflows, and environment configuration.
• Ability to troubleshoot issues across applications, infrastructure, and deployment pipelines.
• Familiarity with source control and collaborative software development workflows.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to work across multiple technical disciplines.
• Willingness to work on-site five days per week in Munhall, PA.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines to support application development, testing, and deployment.
• Develop scripts and automation to compile, package, configure, and deploy applications across environments.
• Support a Microsoft-based technology environment, leveraging relevant tools and services to improve delivery processes.
• Work across application, platform, and infrastructure layers to identify opportunities for automation and operational improvement.
• Collaborate with software developers and infrastructure teams to troubleshoot build failures, deployment issues, and environment inconsistencies.
• Automate routine operational tasks to reduce manual effort, improve repeatability, and minimize errors.
• Help manage application configurations, deployment dependencies, and environment-specific settings.
• Improve existing development and release workflows to promote consistency, reliability, and faster delivery.
• Assist with maintaining the tools, platforms, and infrastructure that support application development and production operations.
• Document automation processes, pipeline configurations, and technical procedures for ongoing support and knowledge sharing.
