Job summary
CapTech is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join the engineering team to shape deployment, verification, and monitoring of applications and services. You will drive CI/CD, environment provisioning, and development workflows, while ensuring comprehensive monitoring and alerting across on-premise and cloud environments.
You will collaborate with stakeholders to define DevOps processes, improve automation, and contribute to software development as needed.
Qualifications
- Experience with SVN and Git for source code management.
- Proficiency in Java or .NET.
- Proficiency with cross-platform scripting and build tools (ANT, Artifactory, Groovy, Maven, MSBuild, Nexus, NuGet).
- Experience deploying and administering CI tools (Jenkins, TFS, TeamCity or Bamboo).
- Experience creating infrastructure automation with Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, Chef, Puppet, etc.
- Experience and understanding of Agile development.
- Experience troubleshooting distributed systems.
Responsibilities
- Build relationships across development and operations to understand code, dependencies, and infrastructure.
- Build and maintain systems to monitor all aspects of applications and infrastructure.
- Lead SDLC automation, configuration management, and release management strategies.
- Be the team expert in deployment strategy (CI/CD) and automation.
- Contribute to software development as needed.
