Position Summary

We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to join our Security and Electronic Systems (SES) business unit. As part of the SES Strategic Business Unit, you will be part of a team that designs, engineers, integrates, operates and maintains electronic security services including intrusion detection, access control, biometric authentication, video surveillance, audio‑visual, IT systems, perimeter defense, and command and control systems for federal, local and commercial customers across high‑growth markets.

Responsibilities
  • Research technology options and evaluate components.
  • Collaborate with development and operations teams to resolve issues, document processes, and improve automation practices.
  • Manage scripts and automate deployment workflows with third‑party tools.
  • Monitor deployment health, identify issues, and redeploy after remediation.
  • Work with system architects to maintain and improve IaC architecture and design.
  • Design, develop, and maintain reusable automation modules for network, systems, data storage, messaging, and cybersecurity components.
  • Write and maintain infrastructure configuration code for new and existing enterprise IT solutions.
  • Design and implement CI/CD pipelines, optimize cloud environments, and ensure efficient configuration management.
  • Plan, evaluate, and execute capacity optimization, updates, upgrades, and lifecycle activities.
  • Create and maintain detailed system documentation, including design, configuration plans, diagrams, procedures, operations, and maintenance plans.
  • Design, develop, deploy, and maintain data flow pipelines to integrate applications and federate data among customer systems.
Qualifications

Clearance/Citizen Type: Applicants must be U.S. citizens and subject to a government security investigation; ACTIVE TS/SCI with Poly clearance required.

Key Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related engineering discipline.
  • Experience: 10+ years of systems engineering, implementation, and support; advanced knowledge of IaC, DevOps architectures, and best practices.
  • Proficiency with automation frameworks (Terraform, Ansible), development tools (Visual Studio), source code management (Git), build servers, artifact repositories, and related components.
  • Experience with application lifecycle management systems such as Atlassian Jira, Azure DevOps, GitLab.
  • Working knowledge of MS Windows platform and services (Active Directory, GPO, VDI, application deployment, networking, storage, cybersecurity).
  • Experience with MS Azure and cloud services, including compute, database, storage, network virtualization, and security services.
  • Understanding of ETL techniques and tools (Azure Data Factory, AWS Glue, Apache NiFi, etc.).
  • Understanding of network infrastructure, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, SNMP, Syslog.
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, communication (oral and written), and time‑management skills.
