Job summary

Zachary Piper Solutions in Springfield, VA is seeking an onsite DevOps Engineer to join a government consulting firm. The role focuses on building and securing cloud infrastructure on AWS GovCloud (C2S), implementing CI/CD pipelines, and supporting the intelligence community.

Candidates must hold an active TS/SCI CI Poly clearance and have strong Linux, IaC (Terraform/CloudFormation), and monitoring with CloudWatch and Kibana. This is a full-time, on-site position with competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 6+ years of experience or Associate’s degree with 12+ years, or a minimum of 15 years of experience.
• Strong experience with AWS (C2S or GovCloud), CI/CD tools, and DevOps practices.
• Proficiency in Linux systems, networking, and system administration.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.).
• Hands-on experience with OS installation, configuration, and performance tuning.
• Ability to resolve complex system issues and communicate/escalate effectively.
• Must hold an active US Government TS/SCI CI Poly clearance.

Compensation of the DevOps Engineer Includes:

• Salary Range: $190,000-210,000 (based on experience)
